Privacy Policy
Effective 2026-07-22.
The Horus Heresy Omnibus Tracker is a personal fan project run by a single individual. This page describes what data the site collects, why it's collected, and how you can have it removed.
What we collect
When you sign in with Google, the site receives from Google: your email address, your name, your profile picture URL, and Google's stable identifier for your account. These are stored in the site's database so you can be signed in on future visits and so your name and avatar can be shown in the header. Your Google password is never received or stored — authentication happens entirely on Google's side.
As you use the site, the works you mark as read are stored against your account. Nothing else about your reading behavior — no click paths, no timings, no session recordings — is captured.
What we don't collect
The site uses no analytics platforms, no advertising trackers, and no third-party scripts of any kind. Your visits here are not correlated with your activity on any other site.
Third parties involved
Three third-party services process your data as necessary to run the site:
- Google — authenticates your sign-in.
- Neon — hosts the PostgreSQL database where your account and read state are stored (US region).
- Google Cloud — hosts the application itself via Cloud Run (US region).
Your data is not shared with anyone else, sold, or used for marketing.
Cookies
The site sets a single session cookie after you sign in, used to keep you signed in across page loads. No other cookies are set.
Deleting your data
To have your account and all associated data deleted, contact me via the Reddit link in the footer and I'll wipe it manually. A self-serve delete-account button may be added later, but for now it's a manual request.
Changes to this policy
If this policy meaningfully changes, the effective date at the top of the page will be updated. Continued use of the site after that change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
